Meet Director?

Have you considered running a powerlifting meet? At the APA message board, Scott Taylor(President, APA/WPA) posts the following;

How many of you would be interested in running competitions by yourselves if there was no financial gamble involved? I realize awards etc are costly. Just curious if some of the costs were cut out if anybody would be interested in running meets themselves in their state. I have a way for beginning meet directors to get started without some of the associated costs of running meets. If interested email me Scott Taylor


2011 USAPL Women Nationals:

We are now accepting bids for Women's Nationals 2011. We would love to have this meet in a more central location, ie, main hub for air transportation and/or easy to drive to. Dates for Women's Nationals is Presidents Day Weekend, (Feb 19th & 20th).

Powerlifting Watch Upgrades Server-Updates:

Due to the increase in traffic to Powerlifting Watch, for the second time this year we were forced to upgrade to a more powerful server. With over 1.1 million pages served up every month, the site was both running slower and running out of space. The server move now should be complete. I apologize for any inconvenience that you may have experienced during the move. However, the result is that you should now experience faster page loading times and a better viewing experience.

Thank you to all of the Powerlifting Watch sponsors for their help in making this move possible. Also, thank you to the contributors, collaborators, and visitors for helping grow the site into what it is today. Stay tuned as even more features are about to be launched, with others planned for 2009.

Fantasy Leader Board-

The 2008 Fantasy Leaderboard has been updated. TeamIvanko has surged to first place with 1,605 points. Super purple monkey dishwasher jumps to second scoring 1,320 points. Tower of Power remains in third place with 1,315 points.

The Fantasy season ends on December 7. Upcoming major events include 100% RAW Bench Worlds, WNPF Worlds, WPC Worlds, IPA Nationals, AAU Single Lift Worlds, and RAW United Worlds.
