The Maryland Powerlifting Report 12/31/07

Sad News:
It was announced at the USAPL Forum that Regina Hackney's (USAPL State Chair-SC) son Jimmy, lost his battle with cancer and passed away. Please keep Regina and her family in your thoughts. Maryland Powerlifting sends it's sympathies and hopes that through the support of the powerlifting community and friends, Regina and her family will find strength during this time of sadness and mourning.

Introducing- Picasa!

Beginning this week, I'll be posting pictures to Google's Picasa Web Albums. 500 pictures taken by Jeff Summers at the 2007 Maryland State Powerlifting & Open Bench Press Championships have now been posted in an album. Unfortunately, I could not transfer all the pictures taken at the meet. It appears there is a limit of 500 per album. A Picasa icon has been added to the left side bar of the blog. To see all the pictures, including those which were not inlcuded in the album, click on one of the following (caution; they may be slow loading!):

Squat

Bench #1

Bench #2

Deadlift

It is hoped that in 2008, I'll be able to include more from the Mid-Atlantic region.
