The Maryland State Powerlifting & Open Bench Press Championships is now closed!

100% RAW News:
Results have been posted for the World Bench Press Championships.

Eight Maryland lifters competed in this meet including Bob Dahlhamer. Bob continues to make it look easy even though he is in his early 70's.

USAPL News:
Robert Keller has posted notes from the Third World Conference on doping in Sport. To read, click here.

A couple of items of note include:

1) The sports movements and governments of the world have adopted the Madrid Resolution, which includes the option to increase bans for a first offence from [two to four years] if athletes are found to be part of a wider doping network.

2) Another change to the Code allows for bans to be cut if athletes agree to give information on other drugs cheats.
