AAU News:
From Martin Drake;
Here is where I need help from ALL of you.
As you know thw AAU International Powerlifting,Bench, Deadlift and Pushpull Championships in Las Vegas Dec 1-2 will be capped at 250 lifters since it is only 2 days. As of today over 300 have responded that they are coming BUT most that have responded have not entered. Although the entries thus far have been solid, they have come MOSTLY from THOSE WHO HAVE NOT ATTENDED VEGAS OR LAUGHLIN BEFORE. In other words many of the regulars are slower to enter. THUS WE COULD SUDDENLY HAVE 200 LIFTERS OR 400+
It is possible (but difficult) to raise the cap, but it involvesCONSIDERABLE ADDITIONAL HELP. That is, 4-6 extra refs/day two-four helping at the table and POSSIBLY some spotting/loading help.
