News Letter 8/27/07

If you thought you missed it, there wasn't a mid-week edition of the News Letter last week.

We're on the eve of an event filled month in September and there are some deadlines approching if you plan to participate in some of the events. Internationally, the IPF Juniors will be in La Garde, France and the Master's will be benching in Schwedt, Germany. Here in Maryland, we have the ADAU in Hagerstown (9/15), Special Olympics in Frederick (9/15), Lift for a Cure (9/16) and on September 29, a seminar presented by Matt and Sioux-z Gary. Regionally, the APF will be in New Castle, DE (9/15), the USPF will be in New Martinsville, WV (9/15) and the IPA will be in New Castle, PA (9/22) with the PA States. For more information on these and to see what is coming up in the later part of this year, check out the calendar.

Don't forget about the Maryland States and Open Bench Press scheduled for Decmber 8!

I think I'm done tinkering with the message board for now. If you haven't checked out my handy work, I've changed the colors and added some back-ground sound. The sound is taken from a high school gym. You might receive a warning when you first open the page. It is an Active X warning. If you wish to hear the sound, click on the message bar that appears across the top of your screen and follow the directions. If not, close that box by clicking on the X located on the far top right hand side. There is a control at the bottom of the page to turn on/off the sound and you can regulate the volume as well. At this time, it will play continuously three times.
