The IPF has updated their "Supsended lifters and officials list."
On it includes Michal Wilk of Poland who competed in last year's IPF World Championships. USAPL News:
The March edition of the USAPL news letter has been published and released.
On the cover is a picture of the 2006 World Championships Women's Best Lifter, Priscilla Ribic and a link to lifter rankings.
In the President's message, Larry Maile touts stability in membership, increased sales of USAPL merchandise, increased participation over the last year in Open competiton and the lack of drug test failures as successes achieved for the USAPL. Sales of merchandise has accounted for approximately 10% in the budget and he acknowledges the work of "Lance Slaughter, Priscilla Ribic, and Erin Dickey for initiating, building, and maintaining this effort." He is also encouraged by the number of "Open" meets where "upwards" of 100 lifters has participated. He is also determined to build on the successes the federation has had in drug testing.
In this month's edition, 15 contests are reviewed including the 2007 Women's Nationals. Also included is a calendar of upcoming events through 2008.
