Lea Hendrix has launched a new web site in support of the 2007 Colligiate Nationals. When visiting the site, you will find information pertaining to this event. The Colligiate Nationals will be held in Killeen, Texas, April 13th thru 15th.
With the release of the latest list of suspended lifters last week, it was learned that Lukasz Toczylowski of Poland was suspended on September 9, 2006 and fined. This action effectively awards first place to Jessie Betzinger (USA) in the 110 kg Class allowing Team USA to be declared winners of the Junior Men's portion of the 2006 IPF Sub-Junior & Junior World Championships that were competed in Sophia, Bulgaria last September. Congratulations to Team USA and Jessie Betzinger!
Robert Keller (954-790-2249) announced that the 1st NAPF/IPF Championship of the Caribbean Islands Bench Press and Powerlfting competition will take place in Oranjestad, Aruba this coming April 27-29, 2007 in Oranjestad, Aruba. Contact Roberet Keller if your interested in participating in this event.
The deadline has now passed for submitting entry forms for the upcoming 2007 Women's Nationals. At the web site for this year event, you will find bios for 30 of the competitors which inlcude members from Team USA which won the World Championship title at last years World Championships in Stavanger, Norway. This years National Championships will be held in Baton Rouge, LA, February 16-18. Good luck to all!
