USAPL Maryland State Powerlifting Championships:
Wow.. so many people to thank for helping out at the meet, I don't think I could do it justice to thank all of you, but I do want to put out a special thanks to the entire Bardsley clan. Jim found and secured the Anne Arundel CC site for this meet and his equipment was what the lifters competed with at the meet. What a super addition he has been to Maryland Powerlifting.
It was nice to see some of the old crowd and nice to have some new lifters on the scene. As always, I am amazed at the gracious nature of the powerlifting community to help and encourage new lifters. It makes such a difference when you are new to the sport to have experience lifters giving you tips on how to do your best on the platform.
Thank you to everyone who pitched in and helped spot, load or do whatever was asked to get the meet running well.
I hope that I will see many of you at the Naval Academy meet on 2/24/07, I think that the application link is up on the website. Speaking of the website, Will Slade is the webmaster of this site and has done a great job designing and keeping it up to date for us. We've had many compliments on the new website and all the credit goes to Will.
