100% RAW Powerlifting Information Release

The following was released in response to concerns expressed about adding a non-tested or professional division.

100% RAW Powerlifting has taken off and has grown by leaps and bounds. The word is out, 100% RAW is spreading like wildfire. What is the reason for this? Simple, we sponsor and promote meets that lifters want. What is it that they want you ask? A venue to test their strength in an environment where there is no substance abuse or someone using enough gear to lift weights that would otherwise be unattainable naturally. As our motto states “Where lifters compete, not technology”, is the basis of what 100% RAW Powerlifting is all about. There has been alot of talk, speculation and wishful thinking that 100% RAW Powerlifting will add a “professional, and/or untested division”. Folks, this simply is NOT going to happen. All lifters will be subjected to drug testing in 100% RAW. We test for illegal substances and the masking agents use to cover up illegal use. If you have a desire to compete without being tested go somewhere else. There are plenty of other organizations where testing does not exist, I’m sure you will be welcomed there. If you are looking for a competition where you can come compete with the confidence that you are competing on a fair, level playing field then 100% RAW Powerlifting is for you. Its you and the weight at a 100% RAW competition, add high quality officiating and exciting awards and you have the makings of the best contests around.
