News Letter 9/4/06

Congratulations to the lifters, Jennifer Thompson and the USAPL on a very successful National Bench Press Championships that were held in Charlotte, NC this past weekend. In spite of the arrival of hurricane Ernesto which caused some problems with travel, the meet was held as scheduled.

Maryland lifters, Jim Bardsley, III hit a 167.5 (369 lbs) in the 165’s and Jim Bardsley, Jr hit a 167.5 (369 lbs) in the 181’s.
