News Letter 9/25/06

100% RAW News:
Shawn "Bud" Lyte announced on September 18 that he will be “stepping down” as Vice President of 100% RAW effective December 10, 2006 which is the day after the scheduled World Powerlifting Championships to be held in Burlington, VT. Shawn's anouncement can be read at the 100% RAW Message Board.

Paul Bossi (President, 100% RAW), announced that the 2007 Schedule will be posted in December of this year. In his announcement, he indicated that the schedule “will duplicate from 2006 to 2007 in around the same time if this will help lifters plan.”

APF News:
Mike Sweeney (WPC Executive Chairman) distributes a News Letter each week which highlights WPC/WPO topics each week. If your interested in receiving this information contact Mike. The most recent was published Sept 21 and can be read at the WPC-APF Message Board

USAPL News:
Nominations for the next induction(s) into the Women's Hall of Fame will be closing October 1, 2006. Nomination forms are available on the USAPL Woman's Hall of Fame page of the USAPL website. Please note, even if you nominated in the past, you will need to re-submit on the new form. After completing the nomination form please submit to DAliminosa@aol.com and/or sahallen@sbcglobal.net.

The NGB meeting day has been changed for 2007. The Executive Committee has decided to move the meeting to Friday to allow more members to participate. So as you plan your travel plans take note that the meeting will now be in the evening on Friday, July 13th.
