News Letter 8/28/06
And congratulations to both the ADAU and the organizers of Maryland’s Strongest Police (Colosseum Gym, Howard County Police Department for the benefit of Special Olympics Maryland) for very successful meets. The ADAU held their meet in Hagerstown on Saturday and the Colosseum Gym located in Columbia hosted Maryland’s Strongest Police on Sunday. Hopefully, all will get to see the results of these two great meets very soon.
For those who did come to see Maryland’s Strongest Police saw “Captain” Kirk Karwoski do reps with 605 lbs. The exhibition was an awesome display of strength, power and execution of the lift for a great cause.
Powerlifting is alive and well in Maryland!
