1) Please send your amendments according IPF-Con. 7.3.6.3 latest 15. August 2007. Please keep in mind, that at this Congress the Constitution and By-Laws can not be changed, except if the Congress decides about amendments with a 2/3-majority. At this Congress in Austria election of IPF officials and Committee Chairmen take place. Please forward your candidates to the General Secretary latest 15. August 2007.- Detlev Albrings
2) Referee registration for 2008-2011 is due by January 1, 2008
Note from Robert Keller; As a kind and gentle reminder, if you're an international referee, in order for you to renew your IPF Category I and II credentials, referees are required to have at the minimum, at least four [4] National or International Powerlifting Championships between 2004 - 2007. Please contact either Bill Clayton or myself, if you have any questions regarding re-certification of your credentials. Bill and I would like to have all of the applications to the referee registrar by October 01, 2007

Men's USA Team Selection Criteria:
The criteria for selection to this year’s USA Men’s Team are as follows:
1)Winners are automatically selected to the team, pending the outcome of their drug test.
2)Alternates are ranked in accordance to the Carpino Formula.
Currently, as it stands now, the winners of this 2007 Men's Nationals in St. Louis, pending the outcome of DTs, are as follows:
56 kg Ervin Gainer, 60 kg Doc Holloway, 67.5 TJ Hoerner, 75 kg Wade Hooper, 82.5 kg David Ricks, 90 kg Mike Bridges, 100 kg Jason Beck, 110 kg Tony Harris, 125 kg Tony Cardella, 125+ Brad Gillingham
Ranked alternates, in accordance to the Carpino Formula (see web site for formula and alternates).
If the alternate pool is used for this year’s team, per IPF Rules, only two [2] lifters are allowed to be nominated per weight class. I, along with the USA Team Coaches, administration and membership congratulate those members selected for this year’s USA Men’s Team that will travel to Austria for the IPF Mens/Womens World Powerlifting Championships -- Great success to each of you!
